I wish i was allowed to play the major

Fuck this shit rules ☹️️
I'm really happy for SK, definitely the number one team this year. I would love to say that the major will be great but the dumb major rules is fucking boltz and SK...

Is ELEAGUE ever going to point out why they are not reviewing cases like Boltz and steel for next major? This is intriguing me. They did that is less more viable cases. @minsikko & co

FWIW I tried to get in contact with ELEAGUE multiple times to try and find out when and why the roster lock rule changed. (e.g. disco doplan w/ fnatic) They never responded.

If TyLoo now indeed end up having to play with peacemaker (who at that point won't be their coach for over 2 months), that will be another testament to how horrific and senseless this roster lock rule is.

In my opinion the roster lock rules are silly because there is no tournament break and there will always be a "bad time" to do anything.
— Jonathan Jablonowski (@EliGE) December 6, 2017
We don't have a single league like a LCS to plan anything and all it does is hurt quality and make for poor games.
The gap between the minors and majors is going to be 4 months, the the stupid roster lock rules have to be lifted.
— Matthew Trivett. (@Sadokist) November 27, 2017
The major could have peacemaker playing for TyLoo, zonic playing for Astralis and zews playing for Liquid... Plus SK with a stand-in.
— lurppis (@lurppis) December 14, 2017
What a joke.
So it looks like three teams will be playing with coaches at the main qualifier - TyLoo, AVANGAR, Liquid. Almost equivalent to playing 4v5.
— Milan Švejda (@StrikerHLTVorg) December 15, 2017
How does this help the competition in any way again?
Of note: "Peacemaker will be playing as a stand-in for Tyloo at the ELEAGUE Major Qualifier in January." https://t.co/asurnB8Nlg

Entwerteter Major-Sieg?
Another sad part of the whole roster lock situation, is that with SK being undoubtedly the strongest team coming into the new year. By not fielding their full roster at the major it will forever add an asterisk or devalue the winning teams run.

"It wouldn't mean as much for FaZe to win the major if SK doesn't have boltz"
— Thorin (@Thooorin) December 12, 2017
By the same logic it doesn't mean as much for SK to win Blast since Astralis didn't have device, in fact it's much worse in the Astralis example.
Fair is fair.
Lets say wed be winning team at the major, or astralis/g2 beating sk with felps, ofcourse he is a great player, but still its not SK.. huge devaluing of the major title... @csgo_dev @minsikko maybe something we, players, care about ? Also it will lose the hype of the event
Remember to complain as much as possible about the roster lock for the major now, when they can logically not change the rules already in place, but then say nothing after the major, cos you're plebbish fucking messes :>

Was denkt ihr über den Roster-Lock bei Majors und in CS:GO generell?
