... über das 2017 angekündigte Panorama UI.
We said it was a focus of 2017, and it was. I don't want to give an ETA, because invariably we would miss it a d people would be upset.
— John McDonald (@basisspace) 6. Mai 2018
It's still important, it's still a focus, we will release it as soon as it's done. I can only say with certainty we won't sit on it.
... über 128 Tick-Server.
It's not a dumb question. We see this request often. The problem is actually that most players would actually be disadvantaged playing on 128 tick because they can't keep up. So we'd need to segment the players which would lead to longer queue times.... Still may be worth it, tho

Our opinion on that subject hasn't changed. I'm sorry, I know this is an unpopular opinion with the community.

... über die Neubewertung von VAC-Bans.
Will you ever allow VAC banned players to compete at Valve sanctioned events, considering some players got VAC'd at the very beginning of CS:GO, before they even started playing competitively, or had any idea how the competitive scene would grow to where it is today?
— wLE (@wLEcsgo) 6. Mai 2018
No. Cheating is not okay, and the taint of those players would degrade the whole scene.

No plans for custom huds. They are *very* difficult to lock down to ensure that everyone is playing with a level playing field.

... über die Anzahl an Mitarbeitern und die Roadmap für 2018.
There are about 35 people on CSGO these days. Roadmaps are hard at Valve, and talking about them publically is very hard.
— John McDonald (@basisspace) 6. Mai 2018
We have an idea of where we are going, but something new could come up tomorrow that causes us to change our direction.
... über Wartezeiten beim ins Spiel tabben.
It's not a problem we can do much about. If you play in windowed fullscreen mode instead the problem will go away.

... über extreme Rank-Unterschiede im Matchmaking.
When players play at off peak times in low pop regions (especially on less popular maps), we have to make a match so folks can play.
— John McDonald (@basisspace) 7. Mai 2018
Also if you have high trust we (currently) prefer trusted players to players of matching skill.

I think it's really cool that there are services that have sprung up around CSGO to provide more and varied experiences to our mutual customers.

VACnet has been incredibly satisfying, it's probably my favorite thing so far.

Oh I missed that... If we think something will break their service, we let them know ahead of time. It can sometimes be hard to give them access to something early though, it depends on the change.
