[patchnotes]
[MISC]
– Fixed the ‘radar spotting enemies through smoke’ mechanic to behave the same regardless of the game server tickrate, and to not reveal enemies on the opposite side of the smoke until the smoke effect dissipates.
– Increased size of rendering queues for OSX and Linux game clients to address crashes when playing Danger Zone.

Yes, we will use the new CS:GO update. https://t.co/ynyccjzDrD

Hey my lovely @ESLCS, I know it must be late but I have 2 requests:
— Epitácio (@TACOCS) 11. Februar 2019
1- Make hats allowed again
2- Ban this RADAR bind that make it possible to see our opponents on the radar before the smoke fades.
The #2 is really important. I want real CS. #FairPlay
For those unaware of the situation currently at play a command similar to this:

bind "MOUSE4" "toggle cl_radar_scale 0.4 1"
is what is being used when close OR in smokes. It makes the radar scale full size meaning the dot of the enemy will show up bigger as the smoke fades.
You found something that in some sense “abuses” a “bug” that happens in the game. You changed your game around this bind. And you’re proud of this. I’m just telling you what other players are afraid to tell. Not a surprise you would defend this shit ;)

We didn't have enemies on the radar in 1.6, I don't see why we need them in CSGO. If it is for the casuals that's fine. But at least give us the option to remove for pro matches.

I agree with @SPUNJ idea, remove the ability to see enemies on the radar in general. This will also fix the bug that makes teammates see enemies on radar when other teammates dont, it has happened often that you hear ”You saw him on radar”, when it doesnt show up on your radar🤷♂️

That is not for @ESLCS to fix, that is for @csgo_dev 😁.. Removing the radar bind wont fix the issue.
